Order Entry
InStyle helps save time, reduce errors and increase accuracy during order entry.  InStyle allows for quick entry of phone or faxed orders, review and maintenance of EDI orders as well as orders received via the shopping cart.

For orders entered manually, the user can quickly select a customer, bring in default information such as terms, shipping and the sales person, and easily enter or select products to be ordered. Quantities can be entered by size or in packs.  The user can see during order entry the current availability as well as future availability by date.  InStyle allows for multiple price lists.

Order Customization information can be entered during Order Entry.  This information can then flow to production orders.

EDI orders can be received and automatically brought into the Order Entry screen.  InStyle will validate against a customer cross reference the product and price.  Automatic alerts and reports will be emailed to inform customer service of the new EDI orders and any warnings or errors.

InStyle can also receive retail or wholesale orders that were entered via our shopping cart (RBC Red Box Commerce) or a 3rd party shopping cart.  These order will come in just as other EDI orders and will be validated and available for customer service.
Allocation, Packing & Shipping
InStyle can automatically allocate orders, auto pack boxes and generate the appropriate 128 box and content labels.  Pick Tickets will indicate what needs to be picked and packed into each box.  A verification screen will ensure that each box is packed correctly.

Allocation
InStyle has a allocation priority that can be defined by customer.  Future orders can automatically be allocated when the shipping date arrives.  Orders can be forced allocated also at any time.

Pick Tickets and Packing
Pick Ticket forms allow for easy picking using location, priority and routing information.  Each product is clearly shown by Style, Color, Size and Quantity.  If shipping by packs, the pack quantity will be shown.  Additional information such as which location to select, Style UPC number, and Customer Product # can be shown.

The system can perform automatic packing which will indicate what needs to be put in each box.  Products on an order can be mixed or not based on what the order indicates.  InStyle provides a verification screen where each product can be scanned into the box.  If a product is invalid or  the box is under/over packed the system will alert the packer.

Box labels will be generated for each box.

Shipping & Invoicing
The Shipping/Invoicing screen allows for the boxes to be scanned or the entire pick ticket.  The status of the order will then move to a shipped status.  The invoice will be created with merchandise, freight or other charges included.

Production Control
Enter and track your Finished Goods PO's, Subcontractor PO's and Domestic production.  Vendor portals allow for two way communication which improves shipment accuracy.  Compare your production schedule against Customer Orders by date.

Finished Goods PO's
Finished Goods PO's can be created based on individual or groups of customer orders, entered manually or via a forecast.   InStyle provides Vendor portals which allow the Vendor to access the PO, pack, generate box labels (128 and content) and ship the PO.  Receiving screens allow handheld scanners to receive these boxes by scanning the bar codes.

Domestic Production
Domestic Production orders can be created manually or be based on individual or groups of orders.  Any order customizations are included in the production order and a subcontractor PO assigned.  Stages of production are automatically generated based on the factory and the WIP can be tracked through these stages.

Piece Work Payroll
If you need Piece Work Payroll, InStyle has a complete payroll system which will allow for the spread entry, generation of bundle tickets, screens to scan the employee tickets and generate employee, department and plant payroll reports.  InStyle will track on-standard, off-standard, make-up, overtime, holidays, etc...

Scheduling
Production for Imports and Domestic can be reviewed and exported to excel or Gantt charts.  See in a time line how your production is scheduled into the future and compare to your customer orders.  Reports will show the schedule by product, let you know what quantity is in each stage of production, the requested completions date, and the system projected completion date.  Alarms will let you know if you are running behind in your schedule.

Raw Material Requirements from Production
Based on the BOM, the production system will explode the BOM and create raw material requirements to meet production.  InStyle will track the raw material inventory and show you where you need to purchase to meet production requirements.
Apparel Inventory Software

InStyle Software provides quick and easy access to manage your inventory. Reports will show what products you have on-hand, what is reserved for orders, what is in production and when it will be available. Alarms will alert you to low inventory levels and scheduling problems.

We have an industry specific, apparel inventory management software that makes it easy to see your inventory by season, style, color and size or a combination of these attributes.

Based on your BOM, Customer Orders, Production Orders, Purchase Orders and On-Hand levels, InStyle will help you answer the following questions:

Raw Materials
  • What items are required?
  • Based on my on-hand, production requirements and Min/Max/Opt levels, what PO's do I need to generate?
  • When do I need to buy these items and when do I need them delivered?
  • How much do I have in inventory now?
  • How much that is in inventory is currently reserved for production already?
  • What locations is my inventory in?
  • What is the cost of my inventory?
Finished Goods
  • What is the current status of my finished goods inventory?
  • How much is in On-Hand?
  • What are current Open Orders?
  • What is available to sell?
  • What products are currently in production, and when will they be available?
  • Based on my inventory levels, min/max/opt levels, considering my open orders, what Finished Goods PO's do I need to create?  For which products, and for what quantities?
  • How much of each product have I shipped?
  • What is the cost of my Finished Goods Inventory?

InStyle manages and tracks all your Finished Goods and Raw Material inventory levels and requirements.  System alarms will alert you when levels are low, when you need to buy, when receiving shipments may be late and when production delays may affect your Customer Orders.
Product Development and Workflow

Integrated Product Development and Workflow can reduce the time to market and keep everyone in the product development team on the same page.  Workflows can help the team measure their performance, make sure nothing falls behind, and when it does, that it is taken care of.

  • How do we keep everyone in the team on the same page?
  • How do we communicate effectively?
  • Can we shorten the product development cycle and make it more efficient?

These are some of the questions that we were trying to answer when we designed the Product Development module.

You can define the specs and the rest of the information that the manufacturer will need to manufacture your products.  You can add pictures, fabric detail information, swatches, and any other images or documents that you think are relevant.

The revisions section allows you to record any relevant change, which becomes available to the whole team.  This is the key to the PDM module as it organizes what would probably be a set of unstructured e-mails, memos and faxes.

You can organize your products into Workbooks or Collections and group them the way your salespeople will present them to the customer.

You can also enter costing information and quotes from vendors, revisions to the costing (with revision history of costing and quote information).  You can define the costing categories (such as FOB price, fabric cost, trim cost, duty, freight, etc.) and your own formulas to calculate gross margin and other significant values for your analysis.
