The problem with the Traditional Methodology is that the programming might be high-tech but the time it takes to model the reality is not because programs, data and knowledge are not integrated.

When the reality changes, the data structures must be changed, then the programs must be changed. In big systems, the time it takes for business needs to get implemented is too long and the systems become un-manageable.  Users complain but the cost of creating a new system or adding to this one is too high.
